Our mission
Mental health care works — when people can reach it. Seraphis exists to close that distance: to take what works in the clinic — measurement, evidence, clinical judgment, and follow-through — and place it gently in the hands of people who may never set foot in one.
We're beginning with one universal, under-served corner of mental health — we'll share which one soon — and building outward from there, one step at a time, each held to the same clinical bar.
Who we are
Seraphis Health Inc. was founded on a simple conviction: technology that touches health should be held to the standard of medicine, not the standard of marketing. Our clinical leadership is in-house — every protocol, every word, and every safety rail is reviewed by a physician before it reaches anyone. And our engineering leadership has spent decades building systems where reliability isn't optional.
We are majority woman-owned and woman-led, independent, and deliberately small. We answer to the people who use what we build — not to an ads business, and never to data brokers.
Leadership
Co-founder · President & Medical Director
Dr. Kalra is a board-certified psychiatrist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She completed her psychiatry residency — including chief residency — at Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia, followed by a fellowship in Psychosomatic Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School.
As a consultation-liaison psychiatrist at MossRehab, she has spent her career at the intersection of mind and body, caring for patients with traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, and stroke. Her research spans PTSD, brain injury, and cognition — including an Einstein Research Society Grant–funded study on early intervention for PTSD — and she has co-authored on depression in medical illness. She remains active in residency education and curriculum development.
Co-founder · Chief Technology Officer & Chief Operating Officer
Anu has spent more than twenty-five years building technology at the frontier. His career spans Intel, Apple, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure — from shipping the game industry’s first multi-threaded rendering engine, to architecting next-generation AR experiences, to leading the machine-learning engineering organization that operates the platform behind frontier AI models.
He is an architect of large-scale, high-reliability systems, holds multiple patents spanning graphics, virtual reality, and rendering, and earned his M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois. At Seraphis, he leads technology and operations — and the standard both must meet.
Principles
Nothing ships without physician review. Protocols, wording, safety rails — a licensed clinician signs off before the public ever sees it.
Health data belongs to the person it describes. We design so that data stays with you by default — sharing is a choice, never a condition.
We measure before we intervene, and we say only what the evidence supports. If a claim can’t stand up to a clinician’s scrutiny, we don’t make it.
We’re building it the way we believe health technology should be built — quietly, deliberately, and under clinical review from day one. We’ll share more when it’s ready.
